Bathroom clean. Bed comfortable.
Room had a damp smell due to old carpets. Window wouldn't open, limiting fresh air. Breakfast options were disappointing with tasteless food and bad coffee. Room amenities lack, with minimal furniture for a large space. Despite requesting a king bed, ended up with two pushed together.

The hotel provided good prices. A wonderful old property in a marvellous location, everything was excellent. It took just 25 minutes by car to get to the airport. We had a twin/double room which was new-fashioned and airy. The breakfasts were good with yogurt and also deli meats, couldn't ask for anything better.

The best and worst parts
The breakfast was good with various options for different diets, and the location was ideal for exploring city sights. Staff were friendly and accommodating, even packing our breakfast for an early departure.
The noise from nearby traffic disrupted our sleep, particularly when we opened the windows for fresh air.

Wireless was not available in the attic room 41, the check-in time was delayed for 2 hours (because they have only one cleaning lady), the first day the hot water did not work, the parking was not free as I agreed with the receptionist (as an end surprise, I had to pay 1.000 CZK for 2 days of parking), the receptionist was not entirely helpful and the manager of the hotel did not speak English as I was told when I wanted to get in touch with him.

The location is pretty good, not far from the main sights and the shopping centres. Economical.
The room is rather dark because of the poor light. There is no basket for soap and shampoo in the shower cabin - really uncomfortable. The towels were changedd only on request.

The location of the hotel was very central, near to Old Town and Cat cafe. The place was minutes from Svejk Restaurant u Karla, where you can have dinner. The room was new-fashioned & airy with breakfast, had free Wi-Fi.

A fair central hotel for a reasonable price.

outdoor courtyard access, proximity to local bars, stable hot water supply
Carrying luggage up multiple flights is exhausting. Noise from street traffic is bothersome at night!!! The Wi-Fi intermittently disconnects, frustrating when trying to plan your day.

Free breakfast and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. The bathroom was good - everything worked well. The room was set out nicely and there was plenty of storage space. The staff at reception seemed very friendly and helpful.
Despite the friendliness of the staff, I was missing a pillowcase in my room and asked the lady at reception for this to be attended to. She said she would see what she could do - when I returned a good 10 hours later, there was no change and no pillowcase! The hotel also seemed like it could do with a little renovation - the door to our room was damaged, the light had no cover over it and the ensuite door had a hole where the lock should have been. There was also an empty shower gel sachet in the shower - poor attention to detail when the hotel should strive to give their customers a great experience, regardless of the price. WiFi was also not available. Breakfast was limited but this was to be expected at the cost.
